In an attempt to get to grips with the bombshell-type news I shared in my previous post, it has been a whirl-wind of activity around here, with changes and plans and such.
I am the type of person who, once I have stopped freaking out about something that is out of my control, I start trying to change what is under my control. And after initially freaking out, to be quite honest, about just exactly where we are going to put another two tiny people in this house of ours, that has meant cleaning. And making room. And coming up with storage solutions.
I have spent about two solid weeks now of cleaning out cupboards every spare minute. And boy, have we got a lot of junk. After only having lived in our current house for two years now, it's just amazing what we have managed to accumulate. To be fair, a lot of things were just put away in cupboards after the move, to be 'sorted out one day,' and that day has finally arrived.
So after tossing old work suits, evening dresses galore (when will I ever need one of those again. hahahaha) I am rather amazed at the amount of space we have. I am now spending my time looking for storage solutions online, and planning, planning and planning.
Anyway. The image above is from a gorgeous new blog I've discovered, atypicaltypea. We found out last week we're expecting a boy and a girl, so the nursery will remain mint green and white and I'm hoping to find or make, or better yet, find someone to make, something similar to the pic above for the nursery wall. Oh, to have access to Etsy...
