Reasons not to blog

Because

• Does anyone read this anyway?
• Who has the time anymore? 
• Lack of inspiration and anything going on in my world that may be remotely interesting to the outside world.
• Because it's kind of scary to put yourself out there today. When social media is a mine field. On a good day. 
• Because I write for a living, and sometimes the very last thing I want to do is spend even more time with my computer. Unpaid time. 
• Because blogging takes time. Lots of time. Thinking of the right thing to say, putting it into the right language. Spell checking it. Hyperlinking. And finding an appropriate image (oh heaven help me). 
• Because life is busy. Very busy and very complicated these days. 
• Because I'm tired of receiving requests for coverage of products or issues which don't interest me, aren't relevant to my life stage and have nothing to do with this blog. Baby bottles? Room spray? No, thanks. (Just target the correct people is all I'm saying). 

But besides all those reasons, which may or may not explain my nearly year-long absence,  I do miss writing my blog. I miss having somewhere to share my inspirations and latest finds. To discuss things and write about non-serious topics.

So I'm going to give it another shot. Here goes.
