Footsy
Winter seems to be well on its way, and I am loving the idea of making everything snuggly and warm for the next few months - planning soup recipes, planting winter bulbs, and doing winter pedicures.
This is something I plan to do every year and never get quite right: Take off all my nail polish (and keep it off for the entire winter, or at least until August), give my toes some TLC and moisturise, moisturise, moisturise.
I always chicken out and end up painting my nails somewhere around the beginning of June. I just can't take the sight of those ugly pale nails anymore. But after finding this post on See Jane Blog last November, I have actually been looking forward to the ritual.
Yesterday in the name of beauty I removed all traces of hot pink polish and buffed until my arm ached. And at least I have a good use for all that left over post-pregnancy tummy butter that is still hanging around my cupboard.
And yes, as you can tell by the pic on this post, I am slightly obsessed with baby toes at the moment...
Baby update: The twins have arrived! Michael and Grace Mae were born on 2 April. We're all home, together, after what has been a very difficult few weeks, but that's another post for another day.
