A rather pertinent calendar reminder for May... |
Wow, it has been a while.
This is my first 5-day week in an entire month, as April in South Africa is crammed full of public holidays. But don't get me wrong, I am most definitely not complaining! We spent Easter in the bush, my husband and I took a trip to Cape Town, sans kiddies, to attend a friend's wedding (more on that later) and we went fishing with family in Dullstroom.
All in all it was a lovely month, but I am most definitely looking forward to getting back to normal, whatever that is.
On the house front, we are still in transit, waiting for the final transfer and occupation which will hopefully happen in early June. So not long to go, but the novelty of waiting has worn off, I can assure you of that.
So while I dream of fabric swatches and furniture restoration projects and actually having cupboards to pack all my worldly belongings into (it really is the little things, isn't it!) I hope you all have a happy Monday and a relatively painless transition back into the working week.
