Not much news as such to report from the weekend, it was mostly filled with family lunches, eating, napping and playing. The most ambitious thing we did was venture to the nursery to buy some gravel and paving stones for the little corner I want to create in the front garden for the bistro table.
We held our first Easter egg hunt on Sunday morning, I think I was definitely the most excited. Lilia was a little dozy at first, as we'd woken her up at 5.30am to go to the sunrise service that morning, (note the pajamas in the pics above!) but as soon as she caught on to finding all the little eggs scattered around the garden, she loved it.
I did make myself go a little squiffy-eyed reading The Help on Sunday night. I know I'm a little bit behind everyone here and that the movie's already come and gone, but I'm a book-before-the-movie kind of girl. It was a really good read and I couldn't put it down.
Well, here's to the (short) week ahead. We're going fly fishing in Dullstroom this weekend, and I cannot wait for the peace and quiet and lovely country walks, so there's only three days of weekday blues to get through!
