Happy New Year! It's so good to be back home after a busy holiday.
The beach was lovely, but I must say I most enjoyed visiting Nieu-Bethesda, a small town in the Karoo, on our way back home to Jo'burg. It's full of beautiful, artistic houses, silence and open spaces, just what my soul needed.
We stayed at a guest house called Rustpunt, a rather appropriate name I thought.
I hope you're all managing to get back in the swing of things. I really wish this feeling of January excitment and planning could last all year. I have a list of resolutions and planned projects as long as my arm, and I even managed to go for my first run of the year this morning. Here's hoping that it wasn't just a once-off freak event, but rather the start of a new habit!
But before we get into all that boring and serious stuff I'm going to share a few of my holiday discoveries and inspirations, so bear with me over the next few days!
