Almost a month has past since we went to Cape Town for a friend's wedding and had a whirlwind two and a half child-free days in the city. Indulge me briefly while I tell you of my Cape Town highlights package...
After arriving at our guesthouse in Greenpoint, we decided to start off with lunch at the Grand Cafe and Beach at Granger Bay while deciding what to do with the rest of the day. But after trying their amazing mojitos and enjoying the view out over the bay, we stayed for the whole afternoon.

Selection of Asian tapas at the PLC |
For those who don't know Cape Town, the Old Biscuit Mill is located in Woodstock, an industrial property converted into a creative hub with designer shops. The Pot Luck Club is perched on top of the building, overlooking the city.
The restaurant offers Asian-style tapas sharing plates, with a menu that is divided into salty, sour, sweet, umami and bitter. The idea being that each guest orders three dishes each, with the table sharing and tasting each dish.
We had the Korean fried chicken, Chinese-style short ribs, fish tacos, prawn cocktail and the tuna sashimi. For dessert we had an amazing chocolate fondant that came with popcorn ice cream (who comes up with this stuff??)
It was incredible, and I must insist that you must try it out next time you're in Cape Town!
