Back to blonde

I am so excited to go get my hair done today and finally, finally, hopefully, go back to being a blonde. In a moment of madness (and yes, boredom) last year I had my normally highlighted hair dyed a dark brown. It wasn't meant to be dark  brown, just a lovely glossy biscuit-y colour. But dark brown it was. And it's taken close on a year to get it slowly slowly back to normal.

So a word of advice if you are pregnant or just had a baby - do not make any major changes to your hair, you will regret it! (And you'll also look really different in all the pictures for the first year of your child's life, not cool).

In other news, I went totally mad at the Exclusive Books sale on Friday. I understand it's very un-chic to read an actual pages and print book now days, but I love it and doubt I will ever change. I read my first eBook over the Christmas holidays, and it was alright, but I couldn't (or wouldn't) take the iPad down to the beach with me, so it was just limiting.

My dream is to one day have a beautifully organised and built-in bookshelf like the one above. I hear that in the age of eBooks, book collections are the new wine cellars.
